Chocolate Covered Almond Ganache Tart
Ready for the most decadent, easy treat of all time? All you need is 10 minutes, a handful of ingredients, and an appetite for chocolate!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups almond flour
3 tbsp melted coconut oil
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla + 1/2 tsp sea salt
For the ganache filling:
1/2 cup canned coconut milk
3oz chocolate (I used a salted caramel flavored one!)
1 tsp vanilla + Pinch of sea salt
1/2 cup chopped chocolate covered almonds
Topping (Optional)
White chocolate of choice (You can make raw white chocolate or use your favorite brand!)
How to:
Combine all crust ingredients together and mix until dough forms. Press into the bottom of a greased springform pan (or any pan of your choice). Set aside.
Place your chopped chocolate in a large bowl, then, Place the coconut milk in a saucepan over medium-high heat, until it starts to boil. Once boiling, pour the coconut milk over the chocolate and stir until it begins to thicken. Then, stir in the vanilla and salt.
Pour the filling over the crust, leaving an inch or so from the edge of the crust. Then, take your chopped covered almonds, and sprinkle them around the edges of the ganache.
Place in the freezer/fridge for 1-2 hours or until set. Enjoy!
Optional: Just for funsies, I swirled a little melted raw white chocolate on top! You could also drizzle regular/dark chocolate!
