baked breakfast pears with protein crumble

these are seriously so simple and such a fun little treat for breakfast or dessert!
Ingredients
- 2 pears, halved & cored
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 2 tbsp protein powder of choice or more coconut flour
- 2 tbsp coconut flour
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup runny almond butter or other nut butter
- a pinch of oats if you're feeling them!
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Place the halved pears on a lined cookie sheet. Spray with a little olive oil spray or brush with melted coconut. Sprinkle a little cinnamon over the top.
- Combine all of the crumble ingredients in a small bowl, using your fingers to make it really come together. Divide the mixture amongst the four halves, filling the centers.
- Bake for 30 ish minutes or until tender and the crumble is golden.
- Drizzle with a little of my cinnamon roll syrup - optional but YUM - and enjoy!
